I wish I could have inspired people by having persevered in my marriage through so much adversity, but it’s just not possible for me to do that. This might sound like a woman in her 50’s who simply “found herself” and is off gallivanting. But it’s not. I realize that I had no idea what it meant to find “the one.” I married when I was twenty and until this year I never lived on my own. I am certain I was far too young to have gotten married.
