A BEAUTIFUL START
When I got married, I certainly embraced the ”romantic love concept.” All of my songs and writing were so innocent. I was very immature. I have wondered for many months whether I would be able to share what I am about to. If I could share how I felt when I saw my dead son’s body, I decided I could share this.
I was actually married six months before my wedding. It was not a fabulous, passionate elopement kind of thing. It was actually quite traumatic.

MEMORY OF LOVE-PART 1
I drove home after recording my song. As I drove home, I listened to my song and cried.
Music and lyrics need to combine together like a marriage. When I heard the chords for one of my old songs – I new in my heart that fresh lyrics would bring it to life. I also knew exactly what I was going to write about.
At first, I felt sad to give up the beautiful lyrics that Cheryl had written for me. It was actually very difficult for me to sing her words without crying. Now these words are no different!

THE PAIN YOU’LL JUST HAVE TO BEAR
My song was evolving. As much as I wanted to record it with George, yesterday, I had the clarity to know that improvements cannot be rushed. My song most definitely improved with some adjustments. Just to be honest; my mother still has the acuity and certainly is aware of our love. I also know the memory of it is not far off.
