I wish I could have inspired people by having persevered in my marriage through so much adversity, but it’s just not possible for me to do that. MY HEART WAS LIKE STONE

Writing this story was extremely painful because he and I never even discussed why I wanted to end our marriage. Our communication was non-existent for years and years. When I finally was able to tell him that I wanted to end our marriage, there was little discussion other than how we would tell our children. I was relieved because I did not want to feel his wrath. YOU’RE NOT THE ONE – PART 2

I realize that I had no idea what it meant to find “the one.” I married when I was twenty and until this year I never lived on my own. I am certain I was far too young to have gotten married.
