I’M HANGING IN THERE

Yesterday, as she counted and I fell into hypnosis, I definitely felt the sensation. Many times, I don’t. It’s just a very relaxed feeling. Yesterday, I felt a wave of tingling and peace. I could hear my music. Since I have been in the process of composing another song, sometimes the melody will play itself for me when I least expect it. I had no images while under hypnosis, yesterday. Only peace.

I’ve learned from past challenges to follow my intuition and my heart. I accept whatever circumstances I must face. I believe that because of music, my soul is invigorated and healthy. WHEN I FEEL DESPAIR

I’m done taking breaks to pace myself. As I’ve learned, when you’re captain of the ship – you can’t afford to let anything drift. No one else really can steer. With a ship that is sailing into the storm, well, every moment counts. Sadly, I realize that my steering cannot really do much on a stormy sea. One day the sun will shine, and the sea will become calm. I’ll hold her hand tomorrow morning and we’ll have a nice talk.

LAUGHTER AND TEARS – PART 1

My music is a form of expression that is not about creating a “hit” or contemporary song. I believe that all of my songs are a musical about my life. I do want them to be relatable, but my purpose is to express emotion with lyrics and music that connect to my soul. I have been slowly allowing another song to emerge from the “musical seeds” composed during my youth. I decided something could develop from a haunting, chord progression I composed when I was eighteen. The melody was far too high, and when I transposed the chords – I could see the song would work.
