When I wrote “Every Season” in 2011, it helped me to express my lingering sadness. My line of “my sadness will always be” is still true for me. Saying that I’ve “healed” from deep grief doesn’t mean I am not sad remembering the child I loved who died. Continue reading →

EVERY SEASON YOU COME BACK TO ME-PART 1

It is momentous for me that I wrote a completely, new song last week. My song addresses my grief, which always reappears with my child’s approaching birthday and death day. After many years, I accept that my child is truly dead. However, I feel like he is still with me in a different way, and that gives me comfort.
