AMAZED AT WHERE I AM TODAY – PART 2

Healing is not objective – it’s really subjective and I’ve decided that I’m healed. Doctors told me, “It’s incurable and people never get better.” That’s what I’ve heard. If I want to, I can feel that I have dry eyes some days – I do. But I don’t go to that place. I go to the place that I’ve healed from the suffering and I have a life back. Same thing with grief. Continue reading

EVERYTHING HAS LED ME TO THIS PLACE

This “place” is where I am today is one where I am proud. I adore my children. And I’m amazed by the 50 songs I’ve composed and words I’ve written from my heart to share with the world. Continue reading

YOUR SWEET SMILE

The feelings that inspired me to write my most recent song “Someone To Love You,” continue to reverberate throughout my life. The title of this post is from that song. I haven’t written anything of a personal nature in awhile, and will tread lightly here because I do want to share about my current life. I have to balance my honesty without revealing too many personal details that might upset my children. Continue reading

I HOLD ON

I hold on to memories of how I once felt adored in my life – cherished by my parents and even by my former husband. Even though it was my choice to divorce after a long marriage, I am still experiencing a lot of grief. Continue reading

SOMEWHERE I CAN’T SEE

When I sing my song, I am reminded of god’s love, because I have been blessed by inspirational music to help me. But most importantly, when I sing my song I am reminded that self-love is the answer. I won’t drown in misery! Continue reading

WHEN NOISE TURNED TO MUSIC

When noise became music, my life completely transformed. Gradually, each one of my other five senses were elevated. But in order to elevate my other senses, I had to come to terms with avoiding pain and sad memories. I was required to make changes to my life. And that’s exactly what I did. Continue reading

EVERY SEASON YOU COME BACK TO ME-PART 1

It is momentous for me that I wrote a completely, new song last week. My song addresses my grief, which always reappears with my child’s approaching birthday and death day. After many years, I accept that my child is truly dead. However, I feel like he is still with me in a different way, and that gives me comfort. After many years, I cannot wait to wake up because I love my writing and my music. There are so many things I want to express. Continue reading
