SONGWRITING 101 – PART 1
I went into my songwriting folder. On one side, all those notes I hadn’t read in years were paper clipped. A big grin came to my face as I read them.
Now I knew why I believed in “perfect rhymes,” in imagery, and in telling a story. It was from that informative workshop I had attended with her father. I wondered if he was still alive, and she told me he had passed away in 2002. My friend, Barbara, is going to mail me her father’s book.

MY FAREWELL TO MUSIC
When I was seventeen, I was composing songs whenever possible. In addition to songs with lyrics, I composed a few interesting, guitar solos; one in particular was my favorite. I called the song “Farewell,” after composing lyrics for it. Continue reading
MY LYRICS SOAR, WHILE MY HEART EXPLODES
As I was singing last night, the joy of accessing my “heart’s pipeline” was sensational.
Writing therapy is “typing at a snail’s pace,” whereas with singing, my lyrics soar while my heart explodes!
