WITH THE PASSAGE OF YEARS

Yesterday was quite joyous for me as I recorded a very special song, “Only Tears.” I was very happy with the way I sang it, as well as the arrangement. In a few days, it will be Cheryl’s birthday. She died in February of 2008 from breast cancer. I have wondered what songs I might write once I’ve finished “unloading” all my former musical compositions of my youth. THE MUSIC IN MY HEART – PART 1

My songs are unfolding faster and faster now. My voice has been improving and my heart has been lifted so high that I never dreamed it would be possible. My heart starts racing when I think about this upcoming weekend and my performing at two Border’s stores. My unfolding journey is more amazing than I ever imagined. I am honest when I say that it doesn’t matter where it’s going. I just don’t want it to ever end.

WHAT YOU’VE MEANT TO ME – PART 1

When I play those old love songs I can get very nostalgic. “What You’ve Meant to Me,” reflected my uncertainty. I was young, fickle, and not ready to be serious with Michael. Not long after I wrote that song, I broke up with him.
