“I’ve Always Cared” expressed the joy of reuniting after a long separation. The song was written long ago when I had gotten back together with an old boyfriend. However, in the present – my reunion is definitely with the music that was dormant for three decades.

“Misunderstood” is a song born from the anguish I experienced after a painful conflict. “The walls you’ve built protect you now – I want to tear them down somehow.” Walls are a metaphor that profoundly describes the ways we seek protection.
MISUNDERSTOOD
“Laughter and Tears” expresses poignancy as I look back and remember the ups and downs within my marriage. Even though the end of a long relationship is sad, I was able to remember the sweetness and release any bitterness.
