Let these instrumentals take you on a musical journey of healing with their touching melodies. I went from sadness to joy when I rediscovered the music that I loved. Initially, I worked with an arranger to create these lush arrangements. Later on, I gravitated more to acoustic guitar, piano and piano, and solo piano.
I am sharing the individual instrumental song tracks, as well as a link to a page with more about each song. (accessed by clicking on the thumbnail image)
“Set You Free” allowed me to say goodbye to my father with love.
“Hang On” reminds me that my struggles are temporary.
“Alabaster Seashell” is a beautiful metaphor of what is left behind when the creature is gone.
“You Are My Wings” has metaphorically helped me soar, as I’ve rediscovered the music I loved as a young girl.
“The Door” reminds me that doors lead in and doors lead out. I am grateful I had the courage to change my life and follow my dream.
“With Me” describes the uncertainty I felt not long after my father died. Feeling him with me, was of great comfort.
“Through My Music” was written when I was 16 years old and the lyrics remain intact. There are sweet lessons for me within every line of this song.
“Meant to Me” was a love song written long ago, but it expressed the vulnerability and feelings of a young girl.
“You Were There” was a wonderful tribute for my mother (and father, too). I miss my mom, but am thankful she was able to hear my song before she died.
“My Dream” expresses “joy when I sing” and my profound wish to share a message of hope and healing through my music and words.
